The 5-4-3-2-1 Technique - This sensory-based exercise helps you reconnect with the present moment by focusing on what you can see, feel, hear, smell, and taste.
The Bear Hug Technique - A comforting way to practice self-care by giving yourself a hug or wrapping up in a blanket.
The Categories Game - Distract and refocus your mind by picking a category and listing as many items as you can.
Counting Backwards- Use subtraction to focus your thoughts. For example, count backward from 100 by 7s.
Deep Breathing - Regulate your nervous system with deep, mindful breathing—inhale, hold, and exhale slowly.
The Short Walk - Step away for a brief walk, indoors or outside, while focusing on the sensation of your feet connecting with the ground.
